Vanish VI

Vanish VI was the sixth season of the fictional reality competition series Vanish. It features 16 new visitors competing in The Complex with a glass house theme. After 80 days, Adrian McLaughlin defeated Ford Thomas in a 7-0 vote to win the $1,000,000 grand prize.

Format

• House Hex: Each round, the visitors compete in a House Hex competition where the winner is not only immune from elimination, but must nominate two fellow visitors for elimination. The winner of the House Hex competition cannot compete in the following round's competition.
• Last Resort: Following the initial nominations, the House Hex winner, the two nominated visitors, and three randomly selected contestants compete in the Last Resort competition. The winner of the Last Resort has the power to save one of the nominated visitors from elimination. If the Last Resort power is used, the House Hex winner must replace that saved contestant.
• The Vanishing: At the end of each round, the two nominated visitors will have their fate decided in a vote from their fellow contestants. The nominee who receives the most votes to leave must vanish from The Complex. In the event of a tie, the House Hex winner must break it.
• Jury: The winner of the season is decided in a vote held by the last seven contestants who vanished from The Complex.

New Features/Twists

• Secret Duos: The twist of the season brought in Visitors with secret prior existing relationships. The eight created duos were challenged to stay together in the game as long as possible with the incentive that if a duo made it to the finals together, the winner and runner-up prizes would automatically double.

• Sudden Death: For the first time in the series, the Sudden Death twist occurred three times as it took place for rounds 1, 5, and 7.
• Return of the Vanished: Returning from the previous series, Return of the Vanished brought back the eliminated Visitors from the first four rounds to compete for re-entry into The Complex.
